Eagle Mountain - Woodfibre Gas Pipeline Project

Equipment transport in Coquitlam

Starting June 10, our contractor will transport equipment by truck from Burnaby to our Eagle Mountain Compressor Station in Coquitlam.Deliveries will take place over approximately eight days, Monday to Friday, with the final delivery expected on June 19.Trucks will travel through Burnaby and Coquitlam using designated trucking routes between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m.Residents in the Eagle Mountain area may notice increased noise and light.Traffic control personnel will be on site, and brief traffic delays may be required to accommodate oversized trucks. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained, unless previously communicated.We thank you for your patience as we work to safely transport these materials.

Interior Transmission System Upgrades

Construction update – phase 2 underway

Construction has started for phase two of the Interior Transmission System’s Transmission Integrity Maintenance Capabilities Project.Work is underway at several locations within our facilities and rights of way throughout the interior of British Columbia, including Princeton, Oliver, Cherry Creek, Grand Forks, and the Kingsvale Compressor Station near Merritt.Construction activities will generally take place Monday to Saturday between 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., with occasional work on Sundays. We will be replacing segments of our gas lines and upgrading existing facilities.At this time, construction activities are not expected to impact nearby public roads or pathways. Should any closures be required, they will be brief and minimized as much as possible. We continue to work closely with stakeholders, Indigenous groups, and nearby residents and businesses to identify potential impacts and strategically minimize disruptions.We appreciate your patience as we complete this work safely and as quickly as possible.
