Update on construction in Coquitlam

Construction continues to advance in Coquitlam on the Eagle Mountain – Woodfibre Gas Pipeline Project. Since starting construction in Coquitlam earlier this year, we’ve:installed more than two of the required three kilometres of new gas pipeline northwest of Westwood Plateau;levelled a portion of ground within the existing footprint of our Eagle Mountain Compressor Station that will enable the installation of two new electric-powered compressor units; andcompleted the majority of brush and tree clearing to create space for the new electric substation in Eagle Mountain Park and 950 metres of new powerlines to connect back to and power the new electric compressor units once installed. We anticipate finishing installation of the new gas pipeline in early 2025 . Construction of the new electric substation and powerlines is expected to begin in the spring, and we anticipate starting installation of the two new electric compressor units by fall 2025.
